Conversations brewing

––Alice Garner and the research team

We’re getting excited and a little nervous as we prepare for our upcoming online conference on trade union education. This is a chance to share some of our findings from our archival research and oral history interviews, and also to hear from people who are working in trade union education today.

We have selected a number of threads to explore, on innovative training methods, equity campaigns, legislative frameworks, leave for trade union training and the power of film, and expect that ideas and debates that arise will help shape our approach to the final leg of the project.

It’s all happening on Tuesday 16 November (7 – 8.30 pm) and Wednesday 17 November (1 – 5 pm and 7 – 8.30pm). If you haven’t registered yet, hop onto this Eventbrite page – it’s free!
