We’re excited to announce that we will be holding a free online conference on 16-17 November 2021 to bring together union trainers who worked for the Trade Union Training Authority (1975-1996) and current-day educators, to explore the implications of several threads of significance that have emerged from our research into Australian trade union training’s history.
This conference is one of the outcomes of our Australian Research Council Linkage project, with partner organisations the Trade Union Education Foundation and the ACTU. The conference will help to shape the final outcomes of the project. The aim is to ignite a conversation about the past, present and future of trade union education which can inform practice in the field today.
To find out more about the conference program, themes and speakers, head over to our Conference page. Register through Eventbrite.
